About Recruitment

As a growing and developing brotherhood, Alpha Sigma Delta is always in search of quality men to add to our organization. Our "recruitment" process focuses around identifying such men on campus, and determining if there is a match between the individual and our group. We are looking to get to know potential brothers and introduce them to the existing brothers. We host all sorts of events to achieve this goal, ranging from parties to broomball to informal dinners.

If a match is agreed upon by both sides, then the individual will engage in a pledging process. The process takes about 6 weeks, and focuses on getting the new members familiar with the traditions and history of Chi Psi, and most importantly getting more interaction with the people they will soon call brothers. This process does not under any circumstances put the recruit in a situation in which he feels uncomfortable.
